Takamine tuners feature hardened gears for long-lasting smooth action and stable tuning. Every nut is fit for proper intonation and adjusted so that the strings do not bind. This is an important step that many other makers seem to ignore.

Our bridges are designed to transmit torque efficiently to the soundboard. They are sized and shaped so that every nuance of your playing will have maximum dynamic range. Many steel-string bridges also feature a split compensating saddle for improved intonation.
