The Takamine Natural is the quintessential acoustic, painstakingly assembled using the finest materials and with ornamentation kept to the minimum. We even decided against a pickguard to allow the soundboard greater freedom to vibrate, thereby generating richer tone and providing longer sustain.
The Naturals are available in a wide range of body shapes, so there’s certain to be one you’re totally comfortable with. For more information about the various Takamine body styles, see page 19. We even produce a nylon-stringed Natural that works just as well for civilised, soft-toned jazz as it does for classical music.
All of the Naturals in the acoustic-electric range come with the Takamine palathetic bridge pickup system linked to our much-lauded CT4BIs preamp. The CT4BII features an extremely stable and accurate chromatic tuner making it perfect for non-standard and open tunings. We also produce a pure acoustic version of the Natural too, the AN10.
